Hello,
I don't know if its right category to ask such question, please pardon me if i am at wrong place.
We want to host site on https://vsys.host as per their claim on DMCA free hosting. I didn't find much reviews about this Hosting provider so wanted to ask if this provider is legitmate and should i pay them to rent the dedicated server?
Regards.
Hello,
We are looking for a dedicated server in UK with a bit softer DMCA policy (as we know absolute DMCA ignore is not possible in the UK). We have been working with redstation for the last 5 years without any problems, however, recently we have been a target of DMCA. We host media content mostly (no pornography or any graphic content. mostly indian media content uploaded by users). Upon a DMCA notice, we quickly find the targeted content, inform the user and take down the content. Recently happening quite often. Have worked with some good hosting companies in NL, however, the connectivity is not always that good to UK and having a big part of our client base in the UK requires us to have a local dedicated server. The configuration we expect is:
Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 or higher
8 to 16GB of ram
240gb SSD (1tb hdd will do as well if no ssd option)
Bandwidth: we do around 50-60TB per month maximum. Would prefer 80 to 100TB monthly on 1gbps just in case.
Looking for recommendations.
Thank you in advance.
I see on google this is best website for hosting solution.
i,m looking for dedicated server DMCA IGNOR

1Gbit Full Duplex
anyone suggest me around 100$ budget ?
So I bring shared hosting services for my clients. I currently have some HDD disk and we are having some problems from time to time with the I/O.
I want to know a Hosting provider that bring the most Nve Disk space for $250 budget. 128GB of Ram would be nice to have, some 16 cores also.
I want to host like 400 simple accounts
We've been with Hetzner for years and, while satisfied with the hardware and technical support and infrastructure, quite unhappy with support/sales/abuse departments where it always feels like they're doing one a favor in even answering and often make little effort to actually help.
So my question is if there's any hosting provider to match what they offer? We want to upgrade from our current servers and one type of servers we looked into are https://www.hetzner.com/dedicated-rootserver/ax41 which you can get in Germany* for 39 EUR/month (plus 39EUR setup fee) (prices without VAT as we're outside EU). This is a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Hexa-Core which has a passmark > 17,000 and comes with 64GB RAM and 2 x 512 GB NVMe SSD. When I found something similar with OVH (slightly better CPU, 3600X instead of 3600), it 105 USD per month when committing to 24 months which is more than double.
Another type we were looking at is the https://www.hetzner.com/dedicated-rootserver/ax51
Anyway, any matching offers elsewhere? We can probably take some bandwidth limitation and cool with either EU or US locations.
*They have a center in Finland but when I did a bit of research it seemed it offers much worse network connectivity so while 5 EUR cheaper per server, doesn't seem to be worth the risk.
so I recently found from TMD hosting that under Dedicated hosting they sold me actual VPS. I always thought that Dedicated means actual server box.
Since when the word "dedicated" lost its meaning and came to mean virtual.
Is this normal for the industry or just scammy sales techniques employed by TMD?
Hello, my name is David, new member
I'm recently learning about using server hosting or providing services.
And I realized that server hosting should also be provided to meet customer needs.
Below are the Top 5 picked from our own survey to learn more.
Server's stable operation, security, price, quick response, and data center location seem to be important values.
What do you think is most important in a dedicated server??
Please feel free to share your opinions and reasons. I would appreciate it
Hay guys,
I am finding a affordable and reliable Dedicated server provider.
Mostly for reselling in local area.
No software related technical support is necessary.
Q1: what do i mean by white label IP?
ANS: The IP WHOIS should not the the name/link of the hosting provider. So that my clients can't reach the original source.
I'm looking for a reasonably priced managed dedicated hosting solution for my small browser-based game site. I need good processing speeds and lots of storage, at least 4 TB as we are image heavy, but don't need a ton of RAM. The biggest issue is that I need someone who can actually migrate my site AND set it up in good working order. The site has been open for 11 years and while the code is old and clunky it works fine, but I don't have the knowledge to transfer and set up a site myself and I don't have a developer at this time. Once set up, the site rarely requires any attention from a server perspective. It is hosted privately atm but the person is no longer interested in hosting so I need to find a new solution asap.
Hello everyone,
I am looking for a new server for my web hosting company and really interested in Vultr HF 12cores CPU vs Vultr Bare Metal 8cores/16 threads @3.7GHZ.
I have always used their VPS and have been happy with it so far, from RAM/ storage + internet speed pov, it seems Vultr Bare metal provides better value compared to their HF lineup.
Would 8 cores dedicated CPU outperformance a 12 cores vcpu? for web hosting? Assuming both hosting the same amount/ type of wordpress site?
Anyone have experience with this?
Thanks everyone.
Hello, good afternoon. Look, I'm going to be honest, I know that it is not easy, nor is it cheap, but I am willing to learn to be able to create my server.
My idea is to make a server, that people can rent to play minecraft, that is, to create their server. My idea is that through an ftp they can connect to a desktop or something like that and can run their server. I have a pc that I buy to sell, but I couldn't sell it, so I want to use it for this. I know that there are pcs to make a server, but my idea is not to become a super hosting provider for minecraft. I want to go little by little. The pc I have has a ryzen 5 1600af, an asrock a320m-hdv 4.0 motherboard, a 2gb rx 550, a 500w redragon 80 plus bronze power supply, a 240gb pny solid disk, 8gb of ram and a kolink cabinet.
I know I'm going to have to make improvements, but I don't know how. What I know is that I'm going to need a lot of ram, because the minmecraft servers take up a lot. My idea is to put 32gb or 64gb to start with some clients. Also the storage if I will have to enlarge. Tell me if I'm wrong. Then around the source and the processor, I do not know if what it has is fine. So I ask them if the ryzen 5 1600 is going to work.
Well, having said all this, if any component that I have does not work, please tell me. And if I have to change one, tell me. For now my problem is the hardware, since around the software I will investigate a lot about linux and operating systems, to see which is the best and good more things. The software for now is not my doubt
